I loved reading this article! I am in the age range of the women profiled. I am fortunate to have friendships that have spanned 30, 40 and 50 years. My one friend from junior high and high school, my network of friends from college, friendships that developed through my profession and the sisterhood I came into after I became a mother. I also have a network of new friends that I am cultivating through shared interests. They are mostly millennials and Gen Z. Precious! These friendships sustain me, even though we may not be in touch very often, with busy lives across cities, states and continents. But the spiritual connections remain. I am so very grateful. Thank you so much, Iman, for writing this very thoughtful discourse on the gift of friendships and how they evolve over time.
